Changefirst recommend that getting data from respondents using Diagnostics is the first step in a process, this can end immediately after you get data, but it wouldn't provide you with a position of strength.
It is highly recommended that interpretation of data, rather than acting on a specific data points themselves lead your decision making. To bolster this ability to act successfully to address high risks for example, Changefirst recommend a balance between data collection (using Diagnostics) and follow up mechanisms, such as focus groups and workshops.
Use these groups of people to provide an opportunity to take your initial interpretation of the results and confirm your understanding. A workshop/focus group is the best environment to do just that. You can also consider using the custom introduction of your assessment to provide further information (if you wanted) on how respondents can follow up with their response, with further info, should they choose to do so.
This leads to a structure called ORID, whereby getting the responses to your assessment is just the first part in a journey to get actions, based on sound decision-making, from quantitative data.
