These are instructions to create a group assessment in Diagnostics, to then allow you to manually collect responses in an ad-hoc workshop space.

Create a new assessment

1. In My Diagnostics, click the New Assessment button and select the tool you want to use.
2. Enter the required information (name, change type) for this new assessment.
3. Select Collect Responses, select Open Group for Assessment Type.
4. Copy the Assessment URL provided on the Collect Responses page.

Get responses in your workshop

If you are within a workshop environment with the group of people you want to get responses to your assessment, you can ask each person to follow the Assessment URL and ask that they sit separately to the rest of the group to do so.

Once they have finished taking part, then the next participant can sit in the same place and follow the Assessment URL.

• If you want to ensure that those invited have taken part, then ask that they enter their email address. This will allow you to identify who has taken part, but identifiable results are not available in a group assessment when viewing the results.
• If you want to ensure anonymity, then ask participants to enter random email addresses. So you will not know who has taken part in the assessment.

Discuss the results with the group

A quantitative assessment to survey your population should be the start of a conversation, to identify the reasons behind a groups response. Qualitative data requires more time to collect, group and summarise than quantitative – so allow time for discussion to hear and record this to complement your assessment result.
